Back to Dec 2012, I got a free ticket to watch any movie at a theater. By the time I arrived at the theater, there were 2 movies about to show; The Hobbit and The Twilight.
Of course, I chose The Hobbit because I didn't like romantic story.
Well, I liked the movie. It was perfect, the story, acting, CGI, Scenery but I didn't become a fan of this trilogy after I'd watched the movie. I just liked it and waited for the second movie because I wanted to know how their journey would end.
Till 2013, first time I saw the trailer, "wow" I told myself, there will be more action scenes which made me excited and looked forward to the day that the movie will be released. Additionally, in the trailer I saw an Elf with bow and arrow who sliced along the ground and said "Do not think I won't kill you, Dwarf". He caught my eyes, made me wanted to know who he was,was he a good or bad guy and what would he do in the hobbit and Dwarfs' journey. I just determined that I will see this movie at the first day with no idea that the elf who caught my eyes would lead me to The Lord of The Rings, the movie that many people talked about and I'd never thought to watch it.
Dec 13th, 2013 had come, I was at the theater as I wished, The movie went very well until they entered the Mirkwood and it's time for the elves to steal the show. After that my eyes always focused on Elvis Prince who had skills on fighting. I couldn't remember his name because it was mentioned only one time by his father. Moreover I didn't recognize it was Orlando Bloom. Come on I knew who Orlando Bloom was but I'd never seen him in long blonde hair, I saw him once in Pirate of the Caribbean, his character was totally different and Orlando himself had dark hair. So can't blame me if I couldn't recognize. lol
Like I said, they stole the show, he and his fellows showed up to fight spiders, Orcs at the River, and Lake town, there were some scene in the Elvis dungeon and palace too. OMG I fell for this prince.
Before I forget, I like the hobbit 2 and I will wait for the third one at the end of next year which I will be back in my motherland, I intend to watch it in 3D HFR and 4D if I have time.
Back to my prince charming, I have watched so many movies and there were a lot of characters that I like but not as much as the Elvis Prince.
I couldn't get he out of my head so I posted on Facebook said I liked him but didn't know his name. Not for long, one of my friend replied His name was Legolas, played by Orlando Bloom, still handsome like 10 years ago in The Lord of The Rings. Soon as I read her replied, I told myself that I gotta go to the library and borrow this famous trilogy. I love his movement when he is fighting. I can't get enough. I must keep watching. lol Still, I can't believe it was Orlando Bloom.
I finished the trilogy but that wasn't enough. Legolas was a bad ass, he was so cool. The stories were great too. I couldn't believe how could I missed this trilogy, where had I been lol. I went to Youtube and search for anything about Legolas, The Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit. Mostly I found the behind the scenes, OMG it was not easy to make these movies. It is worth the money to buy the DVD set. lol
I liked him a lot. Like he was the first fictional character that I adore. lol There are many fan-made videos and I haven't done watching them yet. I will continue. haha
Well, I don't know what I'm writing, Just want this post to remind me that how much I like him. There are so many things about Legolas affects me that I couldn't write them down because I don't want it to be to long.
