Pork Spread Bites

Hello,
Today I will be showing how to cook my favorite Thai snack.
You can have it in the afternoon tea break or when you have a party.

It is called Pork spread bites (ขนมปังหน้าหมูสับ)

Originally, this menu is done by deep fry but I'd rather have it healthy food,
so I decided to bake it instead of deep fry.

Are you ready? Let's go
.
Ingredients per 2 serving;
1. 5 breads ( I used whole wheat because I wanted it to be healthy.)
2. ground pork
3. 1 egg
4. soy sauce
5. oyster sauce
6. ground black pepper ( The Thai pepper is better, I just didn't have it in my kitchen)
7. sugar
8. chopped green onion
9. Dipping Sauce (Optional; Sweet and Sour or Sweet cucumber dipping sauce)

1. Cut eat bread into 4 pieces.

2. Mix ground pork with soy sauce, oyster sauce,
ground black pepper and sugar.

3. Beat the egg in a small bowl then brush the egg on one side of the bread.

4. Spread mixed ground pork over the bread.

5. Top coat the pork with egg again (optional)
I did it because I didn't want to throw away the egg. ;p

6. Align the breads.

7. Set the oven with the air blown function ( I don't know exactly what it is called.) and temperature as 325F and place the tray inside, bake about 15 to 20 minutes.

 8. Remove from the oven and enjoy your snack.

PS. I dipped with my sweet cucumber dipping sauce.

Watermelon Bread ; First Attempt.

Hello everyone,

Yesterday was my first time ever for baking a bread.
You know, walking to bakery shop is way easier,
but trying something new, it helps you with self esteem.
Blah blah blah, I don't want to lecture anybody here. hehe

So anyway, about last week I was on youtube and saw one video,
She showed how to make watermelon bread.
I will post her link at the end of this blog.
So I thought it was interesting. The bread look wonderful.
I decided to follow her recipe....

Proclaim : This is look a like watermelon bread not watermelon flavored bread.

So here we are, my briefly processing of baking bread.
(Once again, the full detail will be on her link at the end of this blog)

1. I started by mixing ingredients, divided the doughs into 3 pieces, added some food coloring to the doughs and raisins into the red one.

 2. Cover the doughs with plastic wrap in a warm spot to rise until doubled in size. (I had to remove the red and green doughs to bigger bowl because it was about to explode my bowl. lol)

3. Wrapping time, first I started off with setting the red dough to be in a log shape, rolled out the white dough until it was large enough to cover the log, brushed some milk on the red log and the white piece then wrapped the white piece around the red log. Continued to the green dough, rolled out like the white one, brushed with some milk and wrap around until completely covered.

 4. Greased the loaf pan with butter spray.

5. Placed the completed log shape dough in the loaf pan and covered it loosely with plastic wrap, then placed it in some warm spot to rise until doubled in size. It took about an hour. Finally baked it.

6. Let it cool down completely.

7. Here we are, it is time to serve.

Compare Makeup Removal Cloths

Helloooooo.......

Today I'm going to compare 2 makeup removal cloths brands.
I have tried makeup removal cloths for more than 2 brands,
but by that time I hadn't made any blog, hence no photos. :)

Makeup removal cloths is easy to use, convenience, and refresh your skin.
Say, you are somewhere not in your house or hotel with sink,
or even you are home but lazy to use sort of liquid makeup remover.

Actually I prefer my Nivea milk cleanser but it is not available in the states,
Ironically I can't fine any kind of this stuff, so I have to look for cloths
which are various in the states, hmmm I miss Thailand so bad.
I will buy 4 or 5 bottles of the Nivea when I visit Thailand.

Anyway, today I'm going to compare "Simple"and "Olay"

The big different thing of theses two brands is the texture of the cloths.
The Simple one was so rough, sometimes I felt like it cut my facial skin (ugh awful),
while the Olay one was so soft, I liked the feeling when it touched my skin
like I was really pampering my facial skin.

Continue to the performance;

The Simple one knows its duty. Even though the texture was so rough,
it left you clean and refresh feeling on your face.

The Olay one knows its duty as well but I didn't feel like it left me clean and refresh feeling
on my face as good as The Simple one because there were some oily left on my T-Zone
( I have super oily skin type)

What about my eye makeup?
As you can tell on the photos, I didn't use the cloths with my eyes.
I used the eye makeup remover with cotton pad because the cotton pad is softer.
I need something that gently and kind to my eye area.

What will I repurchase?
Well I always clean my face with water and/or facial foam after using the cloths,
although it did a pretty good job but in the deep of my mind, I still need facial foam
and water to let it goes deep in to my pore because I believe that the cloth will wipe off
only what on outer skin and the facial foam on its own can't wash away all the make up
I had put on my face. So with those reasons, I will repurchase The Olay one because
it is more gentle to my skin than The rough Simple one.

Audiobook

Hi....Hi

Do you like going to library, find some interesting books and borrow them home?
I am the one who like reading a book from the library,
you know...a lot of books and free of charge, regardless annual member fee
(if applicable). :)

Reading a book, it takes some times and you can't really do other things at the same time, unless you have ebook with sort of read aloud feature.

Speaking of read aloud feature, it is pretty good technology.
You can do a workout at the gym or cook in the kitchen while listening to your ebook. Moreover if you are on the road trip or the train and always have motion sickness, letting your devices read it aloud for you is an good idea.

However, we have another technology called an "audiobook".
The big different between audiobook and ebook is how it is read.
While ebook with read aloud feature is read by robot, audiobook is read by human. So what make it different? well it is the sound.
ebook is just like a monotone but audiobook is just like somebody is reading for you. For example, there are different tone of voices which depends on the characters or situation like excited, haunted happy,if you are listening to the fiction audiobook.

Now, I'm borrowing "The Hunger Game, Catching Fire" from the local library.
The story is good and how the lady reads this book, I really feel like somebody
is reading me a book. It saves my time, I can cook in the kitchen, take a shower, get dress or do some workout while listening to the audiobook.

If you are interested, log on to your local library website, see if they have an audiobook. To listen to audiobook, your devices are required to install the app or software, but don't worry, I'm quite sure that it is free.

Besides, the audiobook from local library, there are many audiobook app, that you can download to your smartphone, they have application for all operation system. but it mostly like the application is free but the book costs some money.

So whichever way to access to audiobook, pick what it is convenient for you.
Enjoy the book.

Dinner Plan

Hello.......

I just came up with an idea which works very well for me,
Taaaa daaaaa, A Dinner Plan. What is it?
It is a list of dinner menu which is I will be cooking each day in a week.

I came up with this idea because I've borrowed a cook book from the library.
FYI, it is a book that contains low calories food and easy to make.
I had to do a groceries shopping today, hence I opened the book
and list the menu which I want to cook next week.

I listed down the menu and ingredient then went to grocery store.
Eh...Eh...I know you guys might think "So? everybody do the same"
It is slightly different for me.I used to list what I want to buy
and when it came to dinner each day, I just opened my fridge and see
what could I cook regarding to what I had in the fridge.
Sometimes, It freaked me out because I had no idea what to cook.
But with the dinner plan, I don't have to worry what I will be cooking each day.
I will just read the list and cook, quick and easy.

Well for those who have never tried, I recommend this idea.
For those who have already made it, lucky you.

Here is my dinner plan
I might upload my daily dish on my instagram,
but not sure yet; depends on how it looks like.
You know, who want to upload ugly photo, right?

Knee Push Ups; if it doesn't challenge me, it doesn't change me.

Hi there,

I've been doing workout on purpose of staying in shape and healthy.
I've started running since February 2013 and doing abs exercise on beginning of July.

Thinking about me, tiny woman 5'2'' tall and 109 lbs.....(@__@ yes 109, quite a lot),
Anyway, people still think that I'm skinny but it is what people see from my appearance.
Every time, I look at mirror I know I have excess fat staying underneath my thighs and my tummy.
I convince myself that I have to do something before it goes too far.

Regardless to running which is very difficult for me, today I would like to focus on abs exercise.
Yesterday was my first time that I was able to do knee push ups, surprisingly that I just started
doing the exercise for like 2 weeks. You guys can imagine right? how strong of your arms
have to be in order to push yourself up from almost floor level. At the beginning I started of
with wall push ups to train my arms and yesterday I guessed I was ready for knee push up.

Here is my first video.
I know it wasn't exactly right position or not so straight back, but it is acceptable right?
For a woman who had never done anything like this before. :p
I promise to myself that I will keep doing better and I will be stronger.

This morning I woke up with my sore arms, feeling like my arm are teared apart from the shoulder. but have to keep in mind that; if it doesn't challenge me, it doesn't change me.

Almond Milk

Hi there,

Have you ever tried Almond milk
or have you ever seen it in dairy section.

For those who have never tried, let me tell ya,
it is a must.

On your grocery shopping,
you go to dairy section,
you might just walk pass it since you may have no idea what is Almond milk?

I got a chance to try it last night,
guess what,it tasted amazing. OMG I don't know why I had always passed it and chose ordinary milk (cow milk) and next time when I run as errand, I will buy this Almond milk for sure.

Since I liked it, I want to share with you guys out there, like I said my blog is about random things that it is interesting. I google it last night to gather more information about this amazing out of eye-sight milk.

Almond milk is made of ground almond and added some favor to make it tasty.
It is good for people who are lactose intolerant. Additionally for those who aren't lactose intolerant but want to have healthy milk, here is what you seek. Almond milk is low in fat and calories yet rich in vitamins and minerals, and last but not least, Almond milk does contain Omega-3 fatty acids, so it is very good for your heart.

So next time, seeking for healthy milk, in dairy section, don't forget this delicious milk.

My First Blog

Hello there,

I decided to start blogging about random things in my life. I mean, come on guys I'm not kind of talented on anything so I can't stay focus on certain thing to blog. You know like someone who blog about beauty, technology, food, etc. I will just blog anything that encounters my life which I think it is interesting enough to blog. Not only to share with people (Don't even know how many people are gonna notice my blog haha) but also like the diary of my life, It will be a good memory once I come back and read it when I'm older.

Back in time 2005, There was a thing called "Myspace" from hotmail I believed so. If not, please correct me. I used to blog on there in my native language "Thai". Technology changed fast, about a year after, I joined Hi5, Facebook and twitter and totally forgot about "Myspace". I'm not sure what happened but once I tried to go to "myspace" it had been gone.

Moreover, I wish it could improve my writing skill. You know I moved to The U.S.A. and my English skill has been used only for daily conversation. I think it is a good opportunity to improve my writing skill and if you are somebody who pass by my blog and see some error in my English, please correct me.

Last, I hope I could keep blogging and enjoy it.
